This weekend, Caleb “Sweet Hands” Plant and David “The Mexican Monster” Benavidez will engage in a possible fight of the year contender. Now let’s get into some analysis for this anticipated fight. In ShowBizz’ opinion, this fight is similar to another fight of the past: Hurd vs. Lara. In that respective fight, Lara had more skills than Hurd but Hurd had the style to crush him. You don’t box a great boxer, you have to fight a great boxer. And Benavidez has the perfect skill set to fight Plant. Therefore, stylistically, Benavidez matches well against Plant.

Caleb Plant made fun of Benavidez reading off his phone by doing an impersonation of it, furthermore he explained that Benavidez should not get extra points for being in weight or in shape because that is what is expected at the level they are in.
