In regards to the upcoming fight between Canelo and Jermell Charlo, the weight is a topic of great discussion. The weight between Canelo and Jermell is similar because Canelo and Charlo are natural middleweights. Charlo may even be more naturally 168 pounds than Canelo.

Officially, Villa is listed as 5'7 and “Boots” is listed as 5’10 and yet, when the fighters had their staredown, Villa was taller. Furthermore, Villa’s head size is larger. Based on ShowBizz’ philosophy, a bigger skeleton is needed to support a bigger head size. And a bigger skeleton means greater strength. Concerning the more boxing technical aspect of the fight, Villa’s pressure, technique and power make him dangerous. Therefore, if “Boots” defeats Villa, credit needs to be given to Ennis.
