When everybody was disrespecting the matchup between Crawford and Madrimov, ShowBizz showed his approval for the fight and after the fight determined Crawford to still be the best fighter in the world. Clearly, ShowBizz has supported Crawford with things that are measurable.

• The point still remains. Crawford needs to fight a decent challenge at 168 pounds to change the perception/demand for a fight with Canelo. Historically, when fighters make a drastic move up in weight, they fight the lesser champion / contender to know they are prepared to fight and attempt to win against the #1 fighter in the respective division.
