HUGE!! Is Spence TOO BIG For Crawford?

Firstly, the situation with the possible fight between ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and David Benavidez has been updated. Sampson Lewkowicz, David Benavidez’ promoter, has stated in an interview via Boxeo De Colombia that the fight between David Benavidez and Canelo has fell through because Canelo’s team never responded to their 50 million dollar offer. ShowBizz’ Take: Canelo has officially ducked David Benavidez.

With regards to likely the most anticipated fight of the year between Crawford and Spence, is Spence too big for Crawford? If he is not, then the “weight bully” claim that at times is used against Spence cannot be valid because Crawford is a fighter who has moved up to welterweight through the years.

Errol Spence has made the comment in the Big Podcast with Shaq that his fight against Crawford is a bigger fight than what was Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. ShowBizz’ Take: That is not true.

Spence also commented that his greatness is evident given his slight underdog position against Crawford even though he has been through unfortunate accidents throughout his career.

To us boxing fans, his underdog position should make sense due to the physical damage he has had to overcome and his recent inactivity in the boxing ring.
