(POPPED DIRTY!) Keyshawn Davis Suspended | Fury SCARES Ngannou?
Keyshawn Davis’ victory over Nahir Albright has been now changed to a no decision after testing positive for marijuana. Davis has also been given a 90-day suspension for the rules violation.
One question arises: Are the consequences necessary? WADA has marijuana banned because it harms the health of the athlete and it is against the spirit of the sport.
In a similar case to this, Bob Arum commented that marijuana is not cheating since he does not think it's a performance enhancing drug.
Why were these consequences against Davis so quickly brought forth in comparison to the cases of Oscar Valdez and Canelo Alvarez?
ShowBizz Take: Marijuana can hurt the athlete and it is okay that it is against the rules. However, to have the fight result overturned is not the right solution.
With respect to tomorrow’s heavyweight championship match, Tyson Fury looks in good shape and prepared.
