ShowBizz’ Take: Spence was not at his best when fighting Crawford. But, Crawford would beat the best Spence.

• To start off, how many times has Spence been knocked down in his career before fighting Crawford? Zero.

• Other than Amir Khan, when was the last time Crawford knocked down someone within the first two rounds?

• The fact that when Spence got knocked down by a jab in the second round, his legs, after getting up, were in a bad state has to be noted because catching a boxer with an ‘off-balance’ knockdown would not have such an effect if wasn’t coupled with prior damage or, likely in this case, a boxer who was not at his best.

Demetrius Andrade posted a video telling David Benavidez to sign the contract and calling people haters. It’s fantastic he’s telling Benavidez to sign the contract because that probably means Andrade signed his side of the contract. Now, about the haters, people are not hating. Andrade has been hating the boxing fans by not fighting good fights. People just wanted to see Andrade in a fight. People did not and do not want bad things directed towards him. Boxing fans just want to see good fights.
