David Benavidez vs. Caleb Plant Press Conference Recap

In yesterday’s press conference for Benavidez vs. Plant emotions were running high. In a pivotal moment in the press conference, Caleb Plant made a remark about Benavidez’ positive test for cocaine which angered Benavidez who tried to direct himself towards Plant to likely engage in a fight. Plant, however, remained calm and had his hands inside the pockets of his jacket. What did Plant have at hand? Well we don’t know. What would Plant have done? Well we can’t no that for sure either. All we must know is to not run up on Caleb Plant.

For instance, when Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez pushed Plant in their face-off during their respective press conference in 2021, Plant attempted to slap Canelo and appeared to only land his fingertips on Canelo’s face. Canelo did return with a series of slaps winning the exchange of slaps. Yet, Plant showed agression in such scenario.

With regards to the actual fight between Benavidez and Plant, it is interesting that members of the ShowBizz the Adult community have been making suggestions and comments about what Plant needs to do win the fight yet they do not do the same for Benavidez. This lack of consistency points out that either, generally speaking, the ShowBizz the Adult community is rooting for Plant or that it views Benavidez as the favorite.
