Ryan Garcia vs. Tank Davis Fight Contract Finalized?

Oscar De La Hoya has stated in a recent interview that the anticipated fight between Ryan Garcia and Tank is set for April 15th, 2023. According to De La Hoya, Golden Boy Promotions has to simply finalize the minute details of the fight contract. 

In addition, Bernard Hopkins expressed his opinion regarding this mega fight. Hopkins believes that both fighters have what it takes to beat each other because they are both special fighters. Furthermore, he specified that Garcia’s skills combined with his outside the ring battles have prepared him for this event but that Tank Davis is not a “fool”. Hopkins described Tank as a fighter who is coming for a knockout and that Tank is in fact a “tank” that pressures but operates slowly. Tank was commended by Hopkins for his decision to leave Mayweather promotions and make this fight against Garcia. 

Another exciting fight soon to come is David Benavidez vs. Caleb Plant on March 25. Benavidez, in a recent ESNEWS interview, mentioned that he is planning on brutalizing Plant and he is preparing well to be able to execute his game plan.
