Sorry, Crawford and Spence Not a Done Deal

This week the ShowBizz the Adult community became aware that the potential match between Spence and Crawford was scheduled for the month of June by the internet provider Spectrum. However, Stephen Espinoza, executive for Showtime Networks, has clarified that the schedule Spectrum released were Pay-Per-View event holds that were placed in the past. Espinoza elaborated that the negotiations for the fight will be made more difficult if he were to say or confirm that the fight will happen in June. Thus as boxing fans we must realize that the Spectrum schedule is not confirmation that this highly anticipated fight is going to take place. And rather it is more likely that the negotiations for the fight will succeed if we, as followers of the sport of boxing, allow for privacy in these negotiations and give those directly negotiating room to do their job.

On other news:

  • Josh Taylor against Teofimo Lopez is reportedly now agreed for June 10th. (ShowBizz’ Pick: Teofimo Lopez)

  • Errol Spence and Conor Benn Jr. have a dispute on Twitter.

  • Jake Paul and Tommy Fury make an “all or nothing” bet for their upcoming fight.
